The Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library Book Discussion Group is designed for all readers who want to talk about books, and provides an informal forum for the discussion of one selected book each month.

Starting in August 2024, the Book Discussion Group meets in the Seminar Room at the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center on the fourth Thursday of every month, except November and December, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Exceptions are noted in the meeting schedule below.

When available, books may be obtained through the San Diego Public Library System or pick-up at the main desk of the Scripps Miramar Ranch Branch Library.

Please Note: Occasionally, the library is unable to acquire a sufficient number of copies of a Book Discussion book in time for the Book Discussion Group meeting. As a result, the schedule of books noted below is subject to change. We will endeavor to provide as much advance notice as possible of book list changes on this web page. Participants are encouraged to check this web page for last-minute updates to the book list and meeting schedule.
