Courtyard Paver Tiles
— A Historical Legacy —
From when the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center opened until 2019, patrons had an opportunity to leave a personalized and lasting legacy while supporting the mission of the Library. Donors could purchase terra cotta tiles to pave the library's central courtyard in recognition of their family, organization, business, or someone they wished to honor. Small (6" x 6") tiles provided text-only engraving and the Large (12" x 12") paver tiles included customized engraved artwork. Proceeds from these generous donations allowed the SRFOL to purchase books, capital equipment, and enhance the library and the services it provides.
The next time you are in the library's courtyard, pause and look down at the tiles. You may recognize a friend, neighbor, or local business. If so, the next time you see them let them know you appreciate their tile-legacy at the library.
